As we iPhone users have grown to look forward to Apple iPhone updates for the latest technological upgrades, iPhone update 2.3 has inevitably been the focus of our attention; however, the latest iPhone update is out, update version 2.2.1, and, as far as updates, it's really the Keauno Reeves of iPhone updates - forgive me if you actually think he can act. You must have suffered a blunt head trauma and should seek medical advice ASAP, but i digress. The latest iPhone update (2.2.1) is mainly a small list of firmware "fixes" and stability retainers. Here's a breakdown of what we get with update 2.2.1:
• Stability "fixes" for Safari - something that is always good, but just not "exciting"
• Resolution of problems when saving images from Mail to Camera Roll - again, good to have, thanks Apple, but just not something to talk about.
The point is that not ALL iPhone updates are going to be a new and surpassing advancement to the world of technology as we know it - come on! I think that Apple has surpassed being noted for releasing TOP OF THE LINE TECHNOLOGY that leaps and proverbially bounds over its' competition, so give them a break. In the mean time, we'll keep focusing on the iPhone 2.3 update which will be the next BIG release for the iPhone. We're hoping for the "sky" with this one from Copy/Paste functions, which people are CRAZY OVER, me included, to the implementation of Turn by Turn GPS enabled Directions through the native iPhone Maps apps. What do you think will also be included?
